Goshiki (Japanese for "five colors") is a highly prized, non-metallic Japanese koi variety. Created in 1918 by breeding an Asagi with a Kohaku, they feature a striking combination of white, red, black, light blue, and dark blue. They are famous for their intricate, netted (reticulated) scale patterns and bold red patches.
